Sunday 30th October
Listen to the Grand High Witch’s plan to turn all the little kiddles in the country into mice! Then get ucky-mucky with clay, to make your own witch statue at 12pm, 1.30pm and 3.00pm
Halloween Fun, bigger and better than ever before!
Enjoy super-fun Puppet Shows, listen to creepy Story Time, make your very own spooky Arts and Crafts and brave the Boo Barn…if you dare! Plus, enter the twice-daily Fancy Dress Competition, meet the Halloween Entertainers and Carve a Pumpkin* to take home!
Watch out for ghosts, rattling bones and spiders of different sizes to meet all tastes. Look out for the spooky characters along both sides of the line to Cholsey and back. Beware of the Witch distributing Special Halloween Spooky Bags on the train to all children under 8 years.
Children have a chance for some fun and frights during Ghost Fest at the attraction’s ever-popular Trick or Treat evenings on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October from 5pm plus a special after-school session on Monday 31st October from 4.30pm. The castle’s prison wing offers the ultimate venue for some trick or treating as families – dressed to impress in their best Halloween costumes – are encouraged to knock on each cell door for spooky encounters and sweet rewards!
“There’s a definite chill in the air on Sunday 30 October during daylight…and they say the steam hauled Ghost Train of the old and eerie Chiltern foothills comes ‘alive’ in a very different and spooky way.
We have heard there may be Hitch-hiking Ghosts, perhaps a Haunted station and maybe even Ghastly Ghouls abroad – dare you come along for a ride?”
Spooky Halloween rides. Children in Halloween costume will receive a treat.
However you spend your Halloween we hope you have a frightfully good time!
