We are currently working with the fantastic Margaret Cowell from PROJECT ACTION who has developed a Professional Nanny Training course, curated for aspiring childcare professionals.
This comprehensive and in-depth course is made up of 6 modules which can be done individually or as one and is Ofsted compliant meaning that each successful participant is able to become Ofsted registered after receiving their certificate.
The Course
M1 – UNDERSTANDING THE FAMILY HOME ENVIRONMENT
The starting module to this course will lay the critical foundations necessary to become a model Nanny. On completion of the course you would have an understanding of the duties and responsibilities that are required from today’s multi-talented Nanny’s.

M2 – PROFESSIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
Not only will you prepare work for your own portfolio in this module but upon completion, you will also be proficient in demonstrating your ability to communicate with parents & children by understanding different forms of communication and how to pick the appropriate method for every moment.

M3 – HEALTH AND SAFETY AS A NANNY
This module will include some work to be completed at home to test your ability to identify potential risks in your environment and how to minimise them. Understanding how to create a safe space for children is paramount to gaining the trust of parents and fostering the development of children.

M4 – PROVIDING HEALTHY MEALS
In a world of fast food and allergies, Module 4, Providing Healthy Meals, will guide you to organising tasty menus packed with nutrition to supercharge the Chid’s development.

M5 – CHILD DEVELOPMENT
All children are special and all children are individual, each with different needs to ensure effective learning and meaningful development.

M6 – EMPLOYMENT MATTERS FOR NANNY’S
